●Yeast made from Home-grown Germinated Brown Rice●

This can be used for things such as macrobiotic bread, living cultures yogurt and cheese.
The yeast can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks. The yeast will smell like yogurt when it is made properly. Bubbles will form if you close the lid tightly, so cover it loosely.
You can make bread, yogurt, and cheese using this yeast liquid. (Refer to other recipes.) Recipe by Mille=miru

Steps
- 1
Pulse all ingredients in a mixer. Pour the mixed ingredients in a clean container with a cover, place the cover on loosely and let the container sit in a not too warm place. Stir the mixture few times a day.
- 2
During the cold seasons or at night time when the temperature drops, it will ferment faster if you use the bread machine proofing system and maintain an even temperature.
- 3
How long it takes to make the yeast depends on the temperature, but when you can see small bubbles forming when the mixture is held still, then it is ready.
- 4
It takes 2 to 3 days when it is warm and about 5 days to ferment. Adding 1 tablespoon of sugar accelerates the fermenting.
