Cooking Instructions
- 1
Combine all ingredients except bread and butter in bowl and mix well.
- 2
Melt butter in non-stick pan
- 3
Drop bread one piece at a time into bowl let set for a few seconds then flip and let the other side soak for a few seconds. (the longer it soaks the more likely it is to fall apart. Stale bread will absorb liquid faster than fresh bread)
- 4
Drop bread onto hot pan, flip after about a minute or when it has reached the desired darkness.
- 5
As an alternative to butter you can make french toast between batches of bacon and use the grease in the pan in place of the butter.

French toast French toast
Delicious and tasty. Household favorite. Pairs good with fresh fruits like berries or bananas and you can even add some chopped nuts. You can sprinkle some confectioners(powdered) sugar on top of the french toast, or syrup, or honey. Carebear -
