Cut the crusts off the bread and divide each slice into 4 pieces. Place them on an oven-safe plate and let them air out.

Pound the garlic, cilantro root, and peppercorns until fine.

Marinate the ground pork with the pounded garlic, cilantro root, and peppercorns. Season with sugar and soy sauce. Add the egg and cornstarch, and mix well. Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 392°F (200°C).

Spread a thin layer of the marinated pork on the bread pieces and bake until the pork is cooked through.
