I was making candied citrus peel and it seems like it was the food that just kept giving. I was able to get the candied peels, syrup and also this refreshing drink.

  1. 4Lemons
  2. 3Limes
  3. 2Navel Oranges
  4. 10 CupsWater
  5. 2 CupsSugar

Cooking Instructions

20 Minutes
  1. 1

Roll all of the citrus vigorously on the cutting board. Slice in half and extract juice. I just use my hands because I don’t have a juicer... and it smells good anyway. Don’t worry about the seeds, you can strain the juice through a mesh strainer afterwards.

  2. 2

Add sugar and water into pot and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Add to pitcher with citrus juice. Allow to cool before placing into refrigerator. Tada!
