In a large mug, add the egg, sugar, oil, and milk.

Whisk everything together well until fully combined. Then add the Nutella and mix again.

Add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt (sifted beforehand). Mix again until the batter is smooth with no lumps. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.

Place the mug near the edge of the microwave turntable, not in the center. Halfway through cooking, rotate the mug 180° to help the cake cook evenly, since microwaves often heat more in the center and the cake may rise unevenly.
