Boondi ke ladoo
Steps
- 1
Take one bowl and add besan. Slowly Slowly add water into it so that lumps are not formed. Batter shouldn't be very thick or thin. It should be flowing consistency. Add food colour and baking soda. Keep wide kadai for frying.
- 2
When oil/ghee is piping hot, with the help of zara or skimmer spread the batter with ladle. Dont overcrowd the kadai otherwise Boondi wil not be in round shape. Fry till it is crispy. In similar manner fry all the Boondi and take out in collander.
- 3
Now for sugar syrup, take heavy bottomed vessel or kadai, add water and sugar. Let it boil. We dont want strings just a sticky syrup. Add elachi powder and food colour which is again optional. Boil for 2 mins.
- 4
Now add all the Boondi into it. Switch off the flame while adding Boondi. And mix well so that syrup is incorporated well. Switch the flame on and cover for 2 mins. Now after 2 mins Switch off the flame and leave it for 5 mins.
- 5
By that time dry roast melon seeds and cashews.
- 6
Now take out in thali and add melon seeds and cashews and taking small portion make ladoos of desired size. Make all ladoos in similar manner.
- 7
Serve your family and friends. They will relish homemade ladoos.
