Chop the sweet potato into 1 cm cubes, put in a heat-resistant dish, wrap in plastic wrap, then microwave for about 2 minutes. Cook until slightly tender.

Melt butter in a frying pan, add the sweet potatoes, lightly sauté, then add the sugar and coat evenly.
