In a container, combine the cup of oats, one quart of water, and the cinnamon stick. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours or overnight.

After 3 hours, pour the oats with the water (remove the cinnamon stick), along with the vanilla, evaporated milk, and sugar, and blend thoroughly.

Pour the blended mixture into a pitcher, add ice and the 2 quarts of water (you can add less water if you prefer), and enjoy.
