Ingredients

  1. 300 gmspaneer
  2. 4onions medium size
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 4-5garlic cloves
  5. 1 pcginger
  6. 2-3dry red chillies
  7. 10-12cashews
  8. 3-4black pepper
  9. 2-3cloves
  10. 1cinnamon stick
  11. 2big black cardamom
  12. 2green cardamom
  13. 1 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1 tspred chilli powder
  15. 2 tspkashimiri red chilli powder
  16. 1 tspsalt or as per taste
  17. 1/4 tspkasuri methi powder
  18. 1 tspgaram masala
  19. 2 tbspcream
  20. 2 tbspbutter
  21. 1 tspoil
  22. 1 tbspcoriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan, add onions, tomatoes, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon stick, cloves, dry red chillies, cashews, garlic and ginger. Add water and bring to a boil and cook it.

    Allow it to cool. Grind it to a smooth paste. Add water if reqd.

  3. 3

    Now in another kadai, take butter and oil, strain the grounded paste and add it in the kadai. Cook for few minutes.

  4. 4

    Add all the dry spices except kasuri methi powder. Cook the spices till its aromatic. Now add the diced paneer. Mix well. Add little water to get the reqd consistency.

  5. 5

    Add salt and paneer. Mix it gently. Add cream and again mix it gently so that the paneer doesn't break.

  6. 6

    Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with naan, paramtha or roti.
