Take besan and sieve it in a big mixing bowl.Add salt, papad khar,oil,crush ajwain and with the help of water knead semi soft dough.

Mash the dough thoroughly for 10-15 min.This step is very important.

Now cut small balls and put it on wooden board.with the help of end of your palm slide it to make long strips.

Heat the oil in a big kadhai on medium flame.slide in the fafda strips 3-4 at a time.deep fry on both sides till crisp.

Serve hot fafda with fried green chilli and tea
