Ingredients

10 minutes
2 persons
  1. 1 handfulwalnuts
  2. 1chopped onion
  3. as per tasteSalt as per your taste
  4. as per tasteFresh green chillies
  5. 1 tbsplemon juice
  6. As neededSprinkle little roasted Jeera for garnish
  7. as requiredWalnut for garnish
  8. as requiredWater for pounding

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a stone motor pestle.
    Into it add walnuts and start pounding. As it is pounded add a fresh green chilli. Pound that too

    Next add chopped onion and continue pounding till you get an almost smooth paste.

    Next add little water and continue pounding. You get a smooth chutney consistency.

    Add salt and mix. You can add lemon juice now or else add it afterwards. Mix and then serve.

    Take it out into a serving bowl. If not added earlier, squeeze lemon juice now and mix. Sprinkle some roasted zeera. Put some walnuts. It gives a nice crunch.
    It's ready... this chutney added more flavour to our mini uttapams.
