Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cupsbasmati rice
  • 1 cupcarrot thinly chopped
  • 1 cupswhite spring onions thinly chopped
  • 1 cupfrench beans thinly chopped
  • as required green chillies thinly chopped
  • 1 tbspgarlic chopped
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • pinchwhite pepper powder
  • 1 tbspsoya sauce
  • 1 tbspchili sauce
  • 1 tbsptomato sauce
  • As per taste Salt to taste
  • 5 spoonsOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the rice in 4 cups of water for about half an hour.

  2. 2

    Boil by adding little bit of salt.

  3. 3

    Boil on high heat for first 5 minutes and then lower the heat until rice tenders.

  4. 4

    Drain and refresh with cold water. Keep aside.
    Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add cumin

  5. 5

    Saute for few seconds and add chopped vegetables except green spring onion

  6. 6

    Stir with salt and pepper powder.
    Toss and cook on medium high heat until veggies become crispy and tenders.

  7. 7

    Add boiled rice, soya sauce,chili sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar.
    Toss and garnish with green spring onions

  8. 8

    Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium high flame

  9. 9

    Now serves it hot
