Potato and Pea mash

I remember stocking up for several months in fear of getting COVID if I’ve to rush out every now and again to restock. But nobody told me peas would start to grow in my fridge. So I decided that the few trays I could rescue would make good use in a mashed potato combo. Enjoy!

I remember stocking up for several months in fear of getting COVID if I’ve to rush out every now and again to restock. But nobody told me peas would start to grow in my fridge. So I decided that the few trays I could rescue would make good use in a mashed potato combo. Enjoy!
Steps
- 1
Boil potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes or halfway done before adding the peas. Add peas and cook until potatoes are fully cooked and peas are tender
- 2
Drain the boiling water and using a masher mash the mixture to desired level
- 3
Put potatoes back on low head and add cream and butter. Combine using masher to desired consistency I.e. add more cream if mash is too hard
- 4
Season and serve with a steak 🤤
