Have you ever had mava jalebi? Crisp on the outer side and juicy on inside. Yum!
This is a traditional sweet of Madhya Pradesh. This sweet is made only with mava and maida and fried in desi ghee and then dipped in thick sugar syrup.
Here I share an easy recipe of mava jalebi which is made in minutes without much effort and mess and it tastes exactly the same as mava jalebi.

Take sugar and water in a deep vessel and allow it to boil. Once starts boiling add cardamom powder. simmer for 3-4 minutes and then keep it to cool.

In the meantime, mix together instant gulab jamun mix and milk to form a smooth batter with the help of a whisk. Whisk well for 5 minutes.It should turn light.

Take a piping bag place it over a tumbler/glass and pour the batter. Seal it from the top with the help of a rubber band and make a hole in the piping bag.(slightly thick than the usual jalebis, as mava jalebi is little thick in size)

Keep ghee to melt in a wide pan.

Make jalebis directly in a pan. Let it cook on one side on simmer. Flip when it changed to brown in colour. Cook properly on both sides.

Remove from the ghee and dup this jalebi in sugar syrup for 2 minutes.

Take out and serve hot with rabri.
