First, wash the chicken and gather all the ingredients.

Mix turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, yogurt, cumin powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice, cornstarch, and food coloring with the chicken using your hands until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

After 2 to 3 hours, heat a large griddle or skillet over high heat. Spread butter on it, then add the marinated chicken. Cook on high heat, searing both sides, until the chicken turns a deep red color and is cooked through.
