Tofu and vegetables stir fry

Ingredients

  1. Tofu
  2. Green beans
  3. Ginger
  4. Soy sauce
  5. Dried chili flakes

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Ruthlessly fry slices of liberally salted and peppered tofu in high heat until it dries out and browns (on both sides) in oil.

  2. 2

    Remove tofu and throw in green beans (or your favorite vegetable) along with the ginger and chili flakes, and sauté until the vegetables are nearly done.

  3. 3

    Toss in soy sauce and the tofu.

I really appreciate the admonishment to be ruthless with the tofu frying. I didn’t have beans so I used chard and added garlic and scallions too. Easy to make, easy clean up. Tasty. I went overboard on the salt :( but it’s still yummy.
