Tofu Chives Bean Sprouts Stir Fry

Ingredients

  1. 1chinese fresh tofu, diced
  2. 250 mloil for frying the tofu
  3. 2 Tbspvegetables oil
  4. 3 clovesgarlic, thinly sliced
  5. 5 clovesshallots, thinly sliced
  6. 200 grbean sprouts
  7. 50 grchives, cut 4 cm
  8. 3red chili peppers, take out the seeds, diagonally sliced
  9. 3-5bird eye chilies, (optional)
  10. 1 tspsalt or to taste
  11. 1/2 tspwhite pepper powder or to taste
  12. 1/2 tspmushroom bouillon
  13. 50 mlwater

Cooking Instructions

    Fry tofu until half cooked. Remove from the heat. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat vegetable oil over medium high heat. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add red chili pepper and bird eye chili peppers (if you use some). Mix well.

  4. 4

    Add the tofu and chives. Season with salt, white pepper powder, and mushroom bouillon. Add water. Stir well.

  5. 5

    Lastly, add the bean sprouts. Stir again for a while (Don’t stir too long if not the bean spouts won’t be crunchy). Remove from the heat.

    Serve immediately over steamed white rice! Yum! 😋
