Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupbesan
  2. 1.5 cupcurd
  3. as neededWater
  4. 1 tsp freshly grounded green chillies and ginger
  5. as per tasteSalt
  6. 1 tbsp sugar
  7. as required Freshly chopped coriander leaves
  8. Seasoning
  9. 2 tbsp Ghee
  10. 3/4 tsp small mustard
  11. 3/4 tsp Jeera
  12. 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  13. 1clove
  14. 2small piece of cinnamon
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. As requiredSome curry leaves
  17. 1/4 tsp asafoetida

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix the curd and besan. Add water. Add salt, sugar and grounded green chillies and ginger. Let it boils on low flame for a while. It will thick. Adjust the consistency.

    To prepare seasoning, take a pan. Add ghee. Once ghee is hot, add mustard, jeera, Fenugreek, cinnamon, clove and bay leaf. Once it is crackled, add curry leaves.

    Add asfoitida. Pour it into the kadhi quickly. Mix it well. Sprinkle with some freshly chopped coriander leaves. Adjust the consistency again.

    Serve hot with Rice.
