Steps

Heat the water in a pan on low medium flame. Add salt. Once it start boiling add ragi flour.

Boiled it for 1/2 minute. Switch off the gas. stir the mixture and mix it well. Cover and keep aside for 2 minutes.

Now apply water to hand and knead the dough well. Add 1 to 2 tsp water if needed and again knead it into a soft dough.

Apply ghee and mix well. Divide the dough into equal size portion. Take a small portion. Again knead it well and roll it into a small chapati with rolling pin.

Once roti is ready transfer it to hot tawa. Apply some water on upward side of roti with the small cloth or with the finger.

As the water evaporates turn the roti and cook again on two minutes on medium flame.

Again turn the roti and cook. It immediately puffed. Flip it again. Once it cooked on both sides apply ghee. Transfer it to the plate.

Serve hot ragi chapati with curry.
