Ingredients

3 servings
  1. INGREDIENTS FOR STIR-FRY
  2. 1 lb./ 450 gr. Shelled and deveined shrimps
  3. 1 tbsp.Vegetable oil
  4. 1 tbsp.Sesame oil
  5. 2garlic cloves, minced
  6. 2 tsp.Minced ginger
  7. 5 oz./ 150 gr. Broccoli florets
  8. 8 oz./ 225 gr. Shitakee mushrooms strips, save stems
  9. 1/2red bell pepper, diced
  10. 3/4 cupscallions, sliced
  11. oyster sauce
  12. 2 tbsp.Oyster sauce
  13. 2 tbsp.Soy sauce
  14. 1 tsp.sugar
  15. 1 tbsp.Chinese rice wine or regular
  16. 1 tsp.Cornstarch
  17. quinoa with shitake mushroom stems
  18. 3/4 cup3 colors quinoa
  19. 1and 1/4 cup boiling water
  20. 1/4 tsp.Salt
  21. Sliced mushroom stems
  22. 1/4 cupgreen chives, sliced

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut and measure the ingredients needed for the recipe.

    Heat a wok with a bit vegetable oil and sauté the shrimp until they turn pink, do not overcook them because they will be hard. Reserve on a plate.
    Reheat the Wok, add the sesame oil and quickly cook the garlic with the ginger.
    Add and stir-fry the vegetables. Add a tablespoon of water to create a little steam to help cook the vegetables.
    Add the sauce, shrimps, scallions and heat up.

    In a small saucepan put the Quinoa ingredients together and cook slowly for about 15 minutes until it absorbs the water.

    Serve with the stir-fry shrimps and vegetables.
