Cheesy Chikuwa Fries with Yukari

I arranged my children's favorite chikuwa into Isobe Age. The salty flavor of the cheese inside combined with the yukari packs plenty of flavor as-is.

The fragrance and saltiness of the yukari is mixed into the batter, so it tastes great as-is with nothing on it. The cheese will melt and leak out if you fry it for too long, so do it quickly. About a minute~a minute and half should be sufficient.
These fry up in little pieces, so they are easy for kids to eat. Recipe by Erueru286

Ingredients

  • 2Chikuwa
  • 2 sliceSliced cheese
  • 2 tbspTempura flour
  • 1 1/2 tbspbefore and after Water
  • 1/2 tspYukari (dried red shiso leaves
  • 1Frying oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the cheese into approximate pieces. Cut the chikuwa in half, and stuff the cheese inside. Cut the chikuwa in half again.

    Mix the tempura flour, water, and yukari together. Coat the chikuwa from Step 1 in the mixture, and quickly fry it in oil over medium~high temperature.

    It is done once you drain the grease. Try it together with.
