Easy one-pan dish. I use silken tofu and frozen shrimps for even more fuss free cooking. I paired this together with spinach namul and steamed butternut squash as part of a meal prep. The light broth goes well with white rice!

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 300 gminced chicken (or pork)
  2. 4frozen shrimp
  3. 300 gsilken tofu
  4. 1 tspminced garlic
  5. 1 tbspssesame oil
  6. Broth mixture
  7. 1 tspshiro miso
  8. 1 sachetvegetable dashi powder
  9. 1/2 cupwater
  10. Marinade for prawns
  11. 1 tbspsmirin
  12. 1 tbspChinese cooking wine (or sake)
  13. White pepper
  14. 1 tspminced ginger

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and thaw frozen prawn. Marinate with white pepper, Chinese cooking wine, mirin and ginger. Leave aside for 10 minutes.

    Make broth mixture. Mix miso and dashi packet in 1/2 cup of water. Set aside.

    Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Put in minced garlic and fry till fragrant and slightly brown. Add in minced chicken and cook till no longer pink. Then add in shrimps. Cook for about 5 minutes.

    Add in mixture in step 2. Bring to a boil. And gently add in tofu to combine. Bring mixture to a boil again before serving. Done!
