Seriously Good ☆ Crabstick Fried Rice

The fried rice they serve at a ramen restaurant I go to often is delicious, so I tried re-creating it.

Use a generous amount of oil to make the eggs fluffy and the rice grains nice and separated. Add a little butter to taste to make it even more delicious!
Very occasionally, I run into sweet crab sticks. They're not good in this. I had a failure the other day with ones like that... Recipe by Souryokucha

Steps

  1. 1

Cut the crab sticks into 3cm pieces, and shred finely with your hands. Cut the lettuce into small pieces.

  2. 2

Heat a pan well until it's smoking lightly, and add a generous amount of oil. Add the beaten egg and mix quickly.

  3. 3

Add the rice immediately and stir fry while mixing with the egg. Add the crab sticks and continue stir frying.

  4. 4

Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle the soy sauce on the hot surface of the pan so that it browns a bit. Stir fry everything together to combine.

  5. 5

Add the lettuce at the end and turn off the heat immediately. Mix the lettuce through and it's done. ☆
