Chamus|Dry Apricot Juice |Hunza Traditional Recipe

A few weeks ago I visited Hunza Valley, the valley where Nature lies on it’s peak. You can see three world’s highest mountain peaks🏔 from the valley.
In August you can enjoy grapes, mulberry, apple and apricot farms at their best, grown place to place all over Gilgit specially Hunza and Chilas.
There I happened to try their traditional dishes which were just so healthy and so delicious.
Their famous traditional drink is dry Apricot juice which they call “Chamus”. They use organically dried apricots in this recipe, which I happened to bring from there.😆
So here I share with you it’s totally easy and delicious recipe. Enjoy it with lots of benefits to your health too..

Steps

Soak the apricots in little water for about 5-7 mins. Then in a juicer blend add the apricots along with this water and ice. Add additional water as well.

Now blend it till all the apricots blend well and the juice becomes nice color.

Add a little more chilled water and ice and give a blend again till you get a satisfying taste.

Pour in serving glass and enjoy it.
