Mix your maize flour in cold water to make a good paste.

Add the paste in the boiling water and stir until you get a good porridge concentration and it starts to boil again.

Serve and enjoy

Break your mabuyu and remove the white part and put into cold water and leave for a while to soak

Stir the mabuyu solution until the white part is fully dissolved.

Sieve to separate the solution from the seeds

Add in your mabuyu solution into the boiling porridge and stir until it mixes.

You can add in sugar or add in honey when the porridge is ready..
