Ingredients

  1. 4cupDrumstick leaves
  2. 1cupBengal gram dal (soak in water)
  3. 5Green chill (slitted)
  4. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  5. as per tasteSalt
  6. 1Onion big (finely chopped)
  7. 1 cupGrated coconut
  8. 1 tbsMustard seed
  9. 1 tbsCumin seed
  10. 5Dry chilli
  11. 8Garlic pearl
  12. 4 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Separate the leaves from the stem, wash and drain

  2. 2

    Keep a pressure cooker, add oil, temper mustard seed, then cumin seed, now add onion, stir until colour changes

  3. 3

    Add garlic and red chilli, stir until get good aroma

  4. 4

    Add drumstick leaves, green chilli, turmeric powder, stir and simmer in medium flame for 10 min

  5. 5

    Now add soaked gram dal, stir and add 2 cups of water and close the lid

    After the 1st whistle, reduce flame and cook 20min

  7. 7

    Once steam out completely, open and stir until water evaporates, now add salt and coconut stir for 5 min

    Add ghee before serve this delicious healthy immune booster at least once in a week
