Garam Masala Garam Masala
For centuries, the world has been fascinated by Indian spices, which make food delicious and aromatic. These spices have been an essential part of our cuisine. There's something special about homemade spices; the aroma and taste of spices ground on a traditional stone grinder can't be matched by store-bought ones. In today's world, working women often don't have the time to grind spices daily. If you want to add a spicy kick to your food, I'm sharing a homemade garam masala recipe that will enhance every dish. Garam Masala - Indian spicemix Garam Masala - Indian spicemix
Garam masala is a delicious warm tasting spicemix from India, there are a few recipes I love to make that require this and although you can probably also find a ready-made-mix in a shop when in a hurry... a fresh homemade mix is definitely much more rich in flavour and taste. You will need a old coffee bean grinder or something similar if you use whole ingredients. If you need more, just use a bigger spoon and keep it in a closed (glass) container to keep it fresh Bart -

Mongolian Ground Beef Mongolian Ground Beef
Quick, easy, affordable, and tasty! The original recipe came from the Closet Cooking website. After giving it a test run and getting everyone's input, this improved version is a keeper. The sauce has been thinned a bit and the hoisin doubled. I think it would also be good with the addition of sliced water chestnuts and snow pea pods for crunch. Maggie Conlon
