I discovered overnight oats from a YouTuber named Moyangzi. Initially, I thought I wouldn't like cold food in the morning, but after trying it once, I immediately fell in love. It's refreshing, filling, and delicious! (That's the key, haha)
The base recipe is inspired by her proportions, and the fruit on top is usually whatever I have on hand, making it a very convenient breakfast. I encourage everyone to give it a try!

Cooking Instructions

The night before, mix the oats, chia seeds, and water, and refrigerate overnight. (If you plan to eat it the same day, let it sit for 4-7 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the water.)

In the morning, take the oat bowl out of the fridge. It will be thick. Add yogurt to make it smoother, more aromatic, and nutritious.

I divide the oats into two portions: one with honey or jam for sweetness, and the other plain. (A compromise for those who want it tasty but not too fattening, haha 😄)

Once the base oats are ready, it's time to decorate! Add your favorite fruits, dried fruits, nuts, or cereal. A well-presented bowl makes for a delicious and healthy oatmeal breakfast!

Chia seeds and oats absorb a lot of water, so it's recommended to drink extra water on days you eat foods containing these ingredients. Otherwise, despite the dietary fiber, you might experience constipation.
