Preheat the oven to broil.

Wash the pear and slice it thinly. Slice the brie as well.

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Layer the brie and then the pear slices on top of the bread.

Drizzle honey over the tartines. Add salt and pepper if desired.

Broil for 10 minutes. Watch closely: the pears should be just lightly golden on the edges.

Serve with mixed salad greens dressed to your taste. Top with pine nuts.
