Ingredients

45 minutes

  • 2 cupwheat flour
  • 1 cuprice
  • 2 cupchopped bottle gourd
  • 1 cupchopped tomatoes
  • 1 cupsoaked chana dal
  • 2roasted papad
  • 2 glassbuttermilk
  • Plate of salad
  • 2 tspraw mango pickle
  • 1 tspgreen chilli pickle
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsphing
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 2 tspcoriander jeera powder
  • 2 tspjaggery
  • 2 piecekokam
  • as requiredGhee to apply on roti
  • as requiredWater
  • as peer taste salt
  • As RequiredChopped fresh coriander

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Cook rice and keep aside..
    Take wheat flour and knead a dough to make rotis..

  2. 2

    Peel and cut bottle gourd in pieces..
    Soak chana dal in water for at least 1 hour. In a pressure cooker, cook bottle gourd, tomatoes and chana dal added by 1 cup of water, till 3 whistles.. Cool completely pressure.

  3. 3

    Take a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, hing, and steamed bottle gourd, chana dal, tomatoes.. Add kokam, jaggery, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, coriander jeera powder, salt and water as required, cook for 5 minutes. Sabzi is ready to serve.. Garnis with fresh coriander..

    Make rotis from kneaded dough.. And apply ghee on it, ready to serve..

    Serve hot rotis, steamed rice, sabzi, roasted papad, salad, a glass of buttermilk, raw mango pickle, green chilli pickle in thali...
