Overnight Oats with Milk, Chia Seeds, and Dried Fruits 🥣

Plums belong to the genus Prunus, along with peaches and apricots. Plums are rich in vitamin C and also contain vitamin A, calcium, fiber, and magnesium. They are sometimes called 'bournelo', but they actually differ in shape and color. According to Ken Albala, plums originate from Iran and were brought to Britain from Asia. The name 'plum' comes from the Old English 'plume', derived from German or Middle Dutch, and the Latin 'prūnum', from the ancient Greek 'proumnon', believed to be borrowed from Asia Minor. By the late 18th century, 'plum' was used to denote 'something desirable', possibly in relation to tasty pieces of fruit in desserts. In 2019, global production of plums (combined with wild plums) was 12.6 million tons, led by China with 56% of the world total. Romania and Serbia were secondary producers. Raw plums are 87% water, 11% carbohydrates, 1% protein, and less than 1% fat. Information from Wikipedia. -Stella

Steps
- 1
In a deep bowl, add all the ingredients. If you have any dried fruit with pits, remove them (you can use any fruits you like).
- 2
Leave in the refrigerator overnight and start your morning with lots of energy!
- 3
The cover photo and this one are from the next morning when I had it for breakfast. The milk has softened the other ingredients and has been absorbed by the oats.
