500 gmbeetroot
1onion
2green chillies
1 tspmustard seeds
1 tspurad dal
1 tspchana dal
1 tspjeera
as required Few curry leaves
1 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

Wash n peel the beetroot. Cut into small pieces. Take 1tbs of oil in kadai. When oil is hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and jeera. Saute.. once it splutters add sliced onions and green chillies. Saute till onions are soft

Then add chopped beetroot. Add curry leaves and salt. Cover and cook till it is done.
