Ingredients

20 minutes
2 servings
  • 1 bunchmethi leaves
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 1 tspcumin
  • 2potatos
  • to tasteSalt
  • to tasteRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly clean and wash methi very nicely.

  2. 2

    In a large kadai, heat 2 tbsp oil and splutter 1 tsp cumin.

  3. 3

    Further saute in 1 onion until becomes light brown.

  4. 4

    Further, add in 2 cubed potato.

  5. 5

    Now add tsp turmeric, chilli powder, coriander and salt.

  6. 6

    Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes are cooked completely.

  7. 7

    Now add in chopped methi leaves.saute for 1 minute or until methi shrinks.

  8. 8

    Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until methi is cooked completely.

  9. 9

    Now add garam masala and mix well.

  10. 10

    Finally, enjoy aloo methi sabzi with hot chapati.
