You sprinkle lots of chaat masala and lemon on top of it, dip it in some mint chutney and smack your lips with every bite.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 6full size chicken legs (without skin)
  • 🌻Marinade:
  • 1lemon juice
  • 2 Tbspmustard oil / vegetable oil
  • 1 TbspGinger garlic paste
  • 1/3 cupGreek yogurt
  • 2 Tbspred Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 2 tspsalt or to taste
  • 2 Tbspred chilli flakes
  • 1 tspwhole spice
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • Pinchred food colour
  • 🌻Others: Butter for busting
  • leavesCoriander
  • Lemon wedges
  • Some red chilli flakes for sprinkle & chaat masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash chicken well and dry.
    Make a few gashes at the thick part of the meat. 

  2. 2

    Put the yogurt into a large mixing bowl.
    Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, combine with the chicken legs. 
    Marinate for at least three hours or overnight in refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F. 
    Arrange all chicken legs on the baking tray.Bake the chicken for 15-20 minutes. 
    Brush some melted butter on the chicken. 

  4. 4

    Tun over the chicken and continue baking for another 20 minutes or until the edges turn slightly charred and all chicken water dry well.
    Remove from oven and squeeze some lemon juice sprinkle some red chilli flakes and serve warm with roast potatoes & mix veg.
