A quick simple and tasty veg pakora perfect with a hot cup of tea during winter season.

Steps

Heat a karahi. Add whole cumin seed, black pepper, coriander seed and fennel seed. Dry roast for 1-2 minutes. Cool down and make a coarse powder.

Take a large bowl. Add moong dal flour,salt, turmeric powder, carrom seed and coarse powder. Mix well.

Now add all the vegetables like spinach, potato, onion, green chilli, garlic and Coriander leaves. Mix well. Add baking soda and mix well. If needed add 1-2 tbsp of water.

Heat oil in a karahi for frying. Take small portion of batter and drop it in the hot oil. Fry all the pakoras till golden in colour.

Take then out from the pan. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
