Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupssuji or semolina
  • 1/2 cupmaida or all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupButter
  • 1 1/2 cupspowder sugar
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 tspvanilla essence
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspsoda
  • 1/2 bowlcherries
  • 1/2 cupchopped dry fruits
  • 1/2 cupchocolate chips

    Whisk melted butter and sugar till you get a creamy texture. Chop cherries and dry fruits.

    Add suji, rava, baking powder, soda, salt, milk, and curd and whisk. Keep aside for 30 minutes. If the batter is tight add more milk. Mix well. Then add vanilla essence, cherries, dry fruits. Grease the baking tin. Preheat oven 180 degrees for 10 min. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes till the cake is done. Decorate with chocolate chips.
