Remove seeds and the thin white skin from oranges to get the pulp + juice.
- 2
Add milk in pan and then put to flame and boil for 4-5 minutes, now add condensed milk and keep stirring continuously so that lumps are not formed and need to thicken milk. Reduce milk to 1/4 th of original quantity of milk.
- 3
Add sugar, stir well and add cardamom powder, let sugar melt and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Let it cool down completely to room temperature.
- 4
After milk is cooled completely, add orange juice + pulp + dry fruits and mix well. Keep this milk Orange mixture overnight so that aroma of orange gets infused with kheer nicely and taste better if consumed next day.
Orange kheer is ready, serve either chilled or at room temperature.
