Ingredients

  • 2 cupsall-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoonsblack pepper (kali mirch) – crushed coarsely or kept
  • 2 teaspoons– dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi), crushed – opt
  • 1 pinchasafoetida (hing) – optional 1 pinch baking soda – opti

    Mix all the ingredients well and knead the stiff dough while adding less than a ¼ cup of water in intervals to it.

    After kneading the dough, cover and keep it aside to set for 20 minutes.

    Add a ⅓ tsp of salt to a cup of chickpea flour in a bowl.

    Add a ½ tsp of carom seeds, coarsely ground red chilli, a ½ tsp of turmeric powder, a tbsp of dry fenugreek, a tbsp of mustard oil to it.

    Flatten both of them together, roll them and apply some water on its corners.

    Cut it into the thickness of 0.5 to 0.75 cm.
