Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. Salt
  2. 1 poundspaghetti
  3. 10 ouncesfrozen peas
  4. 4 tablespoonsbutter
  5. 8 ouncesthinly sliced prosciutto, rolled up and cut in 1/4-inch strips
  6. 2/3 cupheavy cream
  7. Ground black pepper
  8. 3/4 cupsgrated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook until just tender.

    While pasta cooks, warm up peas in a cup of warm water. Drain and set aside.

    Save a cup of pasta water. Drain pasta, return to pot and toss with butter. Add peas, prosciutto and cream. Toss to mix well and to separate prosciutto strips. Add pasta water to reach desired consistency.

  4. 4

    Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add Parmesan to taste, and toss again. Serve piping hot, passing more Parmesan separately at the table.
