I love pasta, and this recipe for macaroni with leek, bacon, and mushrooms in sauce has been a real discovery, not only because of how delicious it is but also because of the way the pasta is cooked without boiling it in water.
Steps

Cut the leek into small pieces. Sauté in a pan with olive oil. Add the bacon and mushrooms (optional).

Add the dry macaroni, without boiling it first. Add the evaporated milk/ cooking cream and the tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and mix.

Add 1 cup of water and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes (depending on the size of the pasta) or until the pasta is done. Add more water if necessary; it should not be completely dry.

Plate, sprinkle grated cheese on top, and add oregano. Enjoy! 🤤
