Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once it splutters, add the grated onion. Fry on medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes till it turns to brown in color.

Now add mutton pieces,mix and sear on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Continue to cook on medium flame till meat becomes brown in color.

Add ginger garlic paste mix it and continue to fry on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes till oil separates.

Add all spices (except whole spice powder) mix it and cook on medium heat till spices cook and oil separates.

Now add tomatoes mix well cover and cook till tomatoes becomes soft and pulpy. Uncover the lid and mash tomatoes. Add 2 glass of water and give it a pressure for 45 minutes.

On the other hand dry roast fenugreek leaves, crush with hands and set aside.

When meat cook completely add crushed fenugreek leaves and whole spice powder. Give it a good mix and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add slit green chillies, ginger and fresh coriander give a mix and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve with naan or rice.
