Ingredients

4 - 8 People
  • 4Tin's Spam
  • TinHotdogs (8 Sausages)
  • 4Noodles or 500g Spaghetti Pasta
  • Rice for making into small Dumplings etc
  • Homemade Vegetable Stock or Chicken Stock
  • Tomato Puree
  • 400-500 gdiced Vegetables
  • 1lot of Turmeric Powder
  • 4-8Onions
  • Salt and Pepper or just use Soy Sauce etc
  • Cooking Oil
  • Small amount of Cumin Powder
  • Small amount of Coriander Powder
  • SprigsFresh Rosemary
  • Bay leaves (optional, can be difficult too obtain)

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a homemade Vegetable Stock (could use a homemade Chicken Stock), can come from a tea made from the water extracted from just Carrots and Potatoes

  2. 2

    Fry roughly chopped onions in some Vegetable Oil etc on a low hob simmer for 10 minutes and then add the tiny chopped Vegetables, maybe add tomatoes or tomato puree - add Stock and seasonings or Soy Sauce instead of Salt and Pepper. Bring too the boil and then simmer with the Lid on the Wok for about 20 minutes so tiny chunks of carrot etc can be nicely cooked and soft

    The Rice Cake bits might be possible too buy in a bag within a dry form. Too make homemade dense cooked Rice Dumplings is something you need too make the previous day - add Rice Cake bits if you are using

  4. 4

    Add the Dried Packet of Noodles too the Stock within the Wok and then cook through until the Stock has evaporated enough

  5. 5

    Add the Spam and Hotdogs - chop into small pieces of course - cook through a little and then it is ready to serve

Did eventually make the Recipe a few days later. I did not have any Noodles so I broke dried Spaghetti Pasta into half - I initially used 250g Spaghetti Pasta which I boiled in lot's of boiling water and the Spaghetti Pasta did get completely over cooked in the Stew Stock , so I used another 250g of dried Spaghetti Pasta for a last 10 - 15 minutes of cooking time within the Stew . I used 400g frozen mixed Vegetables . Can add fried onions at the last minute
