A crispy triangular shaped snack filled with spicy potatoes and finally served with green chutney.

Steps

Boil potatoes, cut into cubes and keep aside. Boil green peas and keep aside, slit green chilli and keep aside.

In moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds + bay leaf and allow to crackle then add potatoes + green chilli and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Mashed potatoes while stirring.
Then add green peas + all spices except garam masala and stir fry till spices turn aromatic, sprinkle little water and cook under low flame for few more minutes. Lastly add peanuts + garam masala and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Filling is ready. - 3
In mixing bowl add maida +onion seeds + salt + oil, mix well and then gradually start adding water to knead a dough. Dough should be semi soft.
Then take small portion from dough and roll out a oval roti of medium thickness, cut in middle of two equal parts and make shape of Samosa (triangular shape) put the potato filling and seal it properly with water. - 4
Deep fry in sufficient oil till golden brown under medium flame. Samosa is ready. Serve with green Chutney.
