Ingredients

  • For the base: 2 eggs
  • 1 cupsugar (200 grams)
  • 1 2/3 cupsall-purpose flour (200 grams)
  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil (100 grams)
  • 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  • For the ricotta cream: 1 container ricotta cheese
  • 1 cupsugar (200 grams)
  • 1/3 cupchocolate chips (50 grams)
  • For decorating: 2 chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, candied cherries
  • Candied orange peel

    First, prepare the ricotta cream: Drain the ricotta for five days until it is dry. Using a hand mixer, blend the ricotta with the sugar, then add the chocolate chips.

    Set aside.

    In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Then add the flour and oil, and finally the baking powder. Mix well.

    Butter and flour a baking pan, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.

    Let the cake cool completely, then turn it out of the pan.

    Put the ricotta cream into a piping bag with a tip.

    Pipe dollops of the cream to cover the entire cake. Decorate the top with candied orange peel and candied cherries. I also added chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs. It’s ready to be gifted or enjoyed with friends and family at Easter. This is a new and easy recipe to make. Thank you to everyone in the Cookpad group. Happy Easter and Easter Monday!
