Today I have made tasty healthy Palak Raita. Raita is a side dish made with yogurt. It is usually served with rice or chapati and is actually a wonderful option when eating pulao, Biryani.

Today I have made tasty healthy Palak Raita. Raita is a side dish made with yogurt. It is usually served with rice or chapati and is actually a wonderful option when eating pulao, Biryani.

In pot blanch half spinach leaves in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Remove and transfer immediately into ice cold water. Then finely chopped and keep aside.

Now finely chopped remaining palak and deep fry on high flame till the palak becomes crispy, then take out on the absorbent paper. Now sprinkle some chaat masala and red chilli powder and Keep aside.

Heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds and sesame seeds saute few seconds then add chopped garlic and green chillies and saute for 1-2 minutes then add blanched, chopped palak and cook some time then add turmeric powder, cumin powder and mix it well. Turn off the flame and keep aside and cool down.

In a bowl add curd and whisked. Add little salt and cooked palak and mix it well. Palak Raita is ready.

Take a serving bowl pour the palak raita and place crispy fried palak on the raita and sprinkle some Chilli flakes and serve it.
