Badass Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. Brussel Sprouts
  2. Bacon
  3. Onion
  4. 1big spoon full of Brown sugar
  5. 1/4of a spoon full of Chili paste or sriracha
  6. Soy sauce
  7. Ginger minced
  8. Garlic minced
  9. Sesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut up Brussels sprouts, and bacon. (Onions optional)

    Brown slices of bacon. Remove cooked bacon and leave bacon grease.

    Let the pan cool a bit because this next step takes some time and finesse... Place Brussel sprouts cut side down in a single layer in the pan with bacon grease and a dash of sesame oil.

    Brown the cut side of the Brussels sprouts really well, then add the garlic, ginger, and chili paste. Let them warm for 2mins, then add water (or chicken broth) soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir.

    Cover and let them finish cooking

    Add liquid as needed.
    Let the liquid thicken into a glaze.
