Pan-Cooked White Fish in Creamy Sauce

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. White fish fillet
  2. 3tomatoes, sliced thinly
  3. 7-8kalamansi squeeze or use lemon
  4. 100 mlall purpose cream
  5. 1small onion, sliced thinly
  6. 2garlic cloves, chopped
  7. S&P
  8. EV Olive Oil
  9. 1/2chicken or vegetable broth cube (optional)
  10. Few drops Knorr Soy Seasoning or other (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prep- season fish with salt and pepper. Season with a squeeze of kalamansi or lemon. Slice to desired portions.

    Heat oil in pan and sauté garlic and onions.

  3. 3

    Add sliced tomatoes. With your hand, add couple scoops of water to help the tomatoes cook and release its flavor. Add 1/2 a veg or chicken broth cube.

    Add the fish. Cook in low heat. Squeeze remaining kalamansi over the fish and tomatoes.

  5. 5

    Add the cream. Mix in gently.

  6. 6

    Taste and adjust seasoning- i placed a few drops of Knorr.

  7. 7

    Serve with rice or vegetables. Enjoy!
