Ingredients

20-30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 4boneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. 2 tbspolive oil
  3. 1/2 cuponion, chopped
  4. 3minced garlic cloves
  5. 5-6fresh mushrooms, sliced
  6. 1/4 cupbutter
  7. 1/4 cupwhite wine
  8. 1 dashWorcestershire sauce
  9. 1 pintcooking cream (heavy or light)
  10. 1 teaspoonbasil
  11. 1 teaspoonparsley
  12. salt and pepper
  13. Flour

Steps

20-30 minutes
  1. 1

    Lightly brown both sides of chicken in olive oil.

  2. 2

    Add onion, garlic, mushrooms, and butter and saute about 4-5 minutes until onions start to become translucent.

  3. 3

    Add wine and Worcestershire sauce and cook an additional 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Lower heat and add cream, salt, pepper, basil, and parsley.

  5. 5

    ! Too high of a temperature will cause the cream to curdle !

  6. 6

    (Optional) add flour to thicken the sauce

  7. 7

    Simmer on low 20-25 minutes until done.
