Fluffy Buns for Hot Dogs 🌭 / Sandwiches or Burgers 🍔

We wanted to make extra special hot dogs in a street food style, but living abroad, it's extremely difficult to find good buns for this purpose. So, I went into the kitchen and made my own buns!!
They turned out more than fantastic, fluffy, and exactly how we wanted them, so I'm sharing the recipe with you 🤩
I filled them with country sausage, crispy bacon, cheese, caramelized onion, ketchup, and mustard... homemade street food 😁🤪
Let's make them!!!
P.S.:
They can be used however we want and filled with anything we can think of, from patties, sausages, ham and cheese, salads, etc., to hazelnut spread, jam, butter, and honey, etc.
In the recipe, I used a combination of all-purpose flour and cake flour. Also, I didn't have fresh milk, so I used condensed milk, which I simply diluted 50-50 with warm water.

Steps
- 1
Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer with 2 cups of flour and use the dough hook to knead for about 8 minutes (or 10 minutes by hand) until the dough easily pulls away from the sides. If it can take more flour, add it tablespoon by tablespoon.
- 2
Put the dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it double in size for 1 hour in a warm, draft-free place.
Once it has risen, turn it out onto your work surface, shape it into a log, and cut it into 6 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and set aside.
If you want buns for burgers, place them on your baking sheet as they are, otherwise see the next step. - 3
Take a piece of dough and roll it out into a long rectangle about 3/4 inch thick, then roll it from the longer side to form a long roll. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and do the same for the remaining dough pieces.
Cover with a towel and let them rise for half an hour. - 4
Once they have risen, preheat your oven to 350°F and bake for 15 minutes. Optionally, brush them with a little melted butter before baking!!
- 5
Enjoy!! 🤪
