Bengali Style Tetor Dal With Bitter Gourd

Steps

First, wash and cut into slices the bitter gourd and add a little salt, turmeric powder and mix it well and keep it aside.

Now take a Kadai, heat oil add sliced bitter gourd, fry them well and take out on a plate and keep aside.

Take a pressure cooker, add washed moong dal, turmeric powder, salt, grated ginger, and water and cover the lid and allow to cook for 3-4 whistles.

Now heat oil in a Kadai add mustard seeds, Fenugreek seeds, and grated ginger, and saute then add boiled dal and cook 4-5 minutes.

Now add fried bitter gourd pieces, sugar, and ghee, and cook another 5 minutes. Bengali Style Tetor Dal is ready. Serve with steamed rice.
